Born in Bad Kreuznach in 1976, Mušikić first studied Graphic Design and Painting, Philosophy, New German Literature and Media in Marburg. She began studying at the Neue Schule für Fotografie Berlin in 2009, graduating in 2013. Mušikić lives and works as a freelance photographer in Berlin, and also as a freelance lecturer at the Neue Schule für Fotografie. She has received numerous awards for her photographic work.

Bitter cold and endless expanses: the impression the Siberian tundra makes on people is not exactly welcoming. Even so, the nomadic Nenet people have settled in the area. Their daily lives are astounding in many ways. The photographer Zorana Mušikić joined a Nenet family and reports of life in the snow and ice.
